Job summary

Paylocity, an award-winning cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is seeking an Implementation Shared Services Team Lead for an in-office role. Lead, train, and mentor a team while driving performance and client satisfaction in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires payroll implementation experience, a degree or equivalent, and strong problem-solving skills. Expect collaboration with senior leaders and opportunities to shape process improvements. In-office only, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Three years of payroll implementation experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Paylocity tools preferred.
• Previous management experience is a plus.
• Ability to mentor/coach peers and team members.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations for the designated team.
• Oversee day-to-day work and delegate tasks as needed.
• Provide training and coaching to new and existing team members.
• Lead regular team updates through meetings and huddles.
• Offer input on performance management and promotions to management.
• Develop best practices to improve team performance.
• Address escalated client/department issues to drive resolution.
• Identify training gaps and coordinate supplemental coaching.
• Create and maintain training/reference materials for the team.
• Collaborate with Managers and Executives on staffing and process improvements.
• Manage workload via queue monitoring and internal communications.
• Maintain updated tools and training documentation.
