• Answers phones, triages calls, and responds to patient requests.
• Greets and checks-in patients; verifies demographic and insurance information.
• Assists with revenue cycle clearance, registration accuracy, and insurance verification.
• Collects copayments and prepares medical records for visits (EMR data entry).
• Monitors patient flow and communicates delays to patients and providers.
• Performs general clerical tasks and supports department physicians.
• Participates in performance improvement projects.
