Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an IT Service Technician to provide onsite support for our federal customer in Frederick, MD. The role focuses on imaging and distribution of laptops at the centralized imaging center and requires a solid TCP/IP understanding.

You will troubleshoot imaging problems using SCCM/Intune, support VPN/Citrix access, perform routine maintenance, and help with hardware setups. Onsite training and occasional travel may be required; certification reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 0–3 years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP including IP boundaries.
• High degree of technical proficiency in IT operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support imaging and distribution of laptops at the imaging center.
• Troubleshoot imaging problems in SCCM and/or Intune.
• Provide onsite technical support and consult with support teams and customers.
• Perform routine system maintenance and hardware configuration tasks.
• Install OS patches and upgrades via SCCM Software Center.
• Provide remote support for telework/home users and VPN/Citrix access.
• Assist with asset inventory and disposal preparation.
• Support video conferencing and audio/video O&M tasks.
• Assist with pre/post application releases and end-user trend reporting.
