Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an IT Service Technician to provide onsite support in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires travel for site coverage and obtaining certifications (A+, ITIL Foundation, HDI, and one of Security+/Network+/Server+).

Reimbursement for certifications is provided. The technician will troubleshoot, install, and maintain a wide range of products, consult with support teams, and deliver services across IT operations, software integration, and systems refresh.

Qualifications

• High school education or higher with commensurate experience.
• US citizen and able to obtain/public trust clearance.
• Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for the customer site in Los Angeles.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of networks/servers and devices.
• Assist with software deployment, patches, and remote troubleshooting via VPN/Citrix.
• Maintain asset inventory, perform system reimaging, and ensure device encryption.
• Support video conferencing, telework users, and on-call outage responses.
