Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an IT Service Technician for on-site support in Frederick, MD. The role centers on imaging and distributing laptops at our centralized imaging center, resolving imaging issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep devices secure and up-to-date.

The candidate must have strong TCP/IP knowledge, and will work closely with the image creation team and support desks. Certifications must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP including IP boundaries.
• Strong technical proficiency and analytical abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support imaging and distribution of laptops at the centralized imaging center.
• Troubleshoot imaging problems in SCCM and/or Intune and coordinate with support teams.
• Provide onsite IT support including maintenance, software integration, and device configuration.
• Install OS patches via SCCM and deliver remote support for telework users.
• Assist with on-site training and asset inventory tasks.
• Ensure devices are encrypted and properly provisioned at customer sites.
• Support enterprise groups such as network and security operation centers as needed.
