Magnum Electric Inc is hiring an onsite Human Resource (HR) Generalist to support a large, fast-paced project in Ellendale, North Dakota. This role serves as the primary HR contact for employees and project leadership, with day-to-day focus on employee relations, onboarding, compliance support, workforce communication, and field workforce HR assistance.

Role Overview

In this full-time, onsite position, you will help ensure HR processes run smoothly for a field-based team. The onsite HR lead will manage essential personnel documentation, support onboarding and offboarding activities, and partner with project leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and field support needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary onsite HR point of contact for employees and project leadership
• Support employee onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork
• Assist with workforce communication, policy administration, and general employee support
• Help manage attendance-related processes, workforce tracking, and general personnel documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed correctly
• Partner with project leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and field support requirements
• Address employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Support onsite policy enforcement and maintain consistent HR practices
• Assist with offboarding, employee status changes, and other HR processes as needed

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, industrial, or field-based environments preferred
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
