Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Human Resource Specialist for a state-of-the-art construction project. You will champion our culture, manage HR processes, and advise staff and management on employee relations to sustain a productive work environment.

You will partner with on-site project teams, assist with talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management, and ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and labor classifications. Travel is estimated at ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of HR experience.
• Proficiency in HR information systems, databases, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint), and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champion Walbridge culture of inclusion initiative and promote strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance and maintain compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.
• Partner with on-site project supervisors, facilitate the Talent Acquisition process, and support the corporate HR team.
• Provide oversight of new team member programs, health & wellness initiatives, training, labor postings and signage, and substance abuse testing process.
• Lead investigations and resolve team member relations matters promptly and effectively.
