Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Human Resource Specialist for a state-of-the-art construction project. You will champion our culture, manage HR processes, and advise staff and management to foster positive employee relations and a productive work environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 3–5 years HR experience, strong HRIS/MS Office/SharePoint skills, and travel up to 10% to support onsite operations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience.
• Proficiency in HR information systems, databases, MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Excellent time management, organization skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 10%.

Responsibilities

• Champion Walbridge culture of inclusion and promote strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance and maintain compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.
• Partner with on-site project supervisors and support the Talent Acquisition process.
• Oversee new team member programs, health and wellness initiatives, training, and postings.
• Lead investigations and resolve team member relations matters promptly.
