Walbridge is seeking a Human Resource Specialist for a state-of-the-art construction project. You will champion our culture, manage HR processes, and advise staff and management to foster positive employee relations.

You will collaborate with on-site supervisors and the corporate HR team, ensuring compliance with EEO and OFCCP, while driving onboarding and wellness initiatives. The role requires travel and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field with 3–5 years HR experience.
• Proven expertise in a specific HR specialty area (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, benefits).
• Proficiency in HR information systems, databases, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint), and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Champion Walbridge culture of inclusion and promote strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance and ensure compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.
• Partner with on-site project supervisors to support Talent Acquisition and the corporate HR team.
• Oversee onboarding programs, health & wellness initiatives, training, postings, signage, and drug testing processes.
• Lead investigations and resolve employee relations matters promptly and effectively.
