United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Operations professional in New Jersey. The role focuses on Talent Development, Workforce Planning, Talent Selection, Engagement, Training, and Associate Relations to support a people-first culture.

You will build partnerships with business leaders, coach staff, and administer HR programs across benefits, leaves, performance, and compliance. This position requires at least 3 years of HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree or HR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or HR certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience.
• Knowledge of Federal, state and local employment laws.
• Understanding of talent acquisition, compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds effective working relationships with business leaders.
• Leverages understanding of business needs to optimize human capital.
• Acts as primary point of contact and provides counsel to internal partners.
• Provides coaching to individual contributors to help them succeed.
• Participates in supervisor, management, and staff meetings.
• Reviews metrics to derive insights and improve processes.
• Implements workforce and talent agenda with Talent Acquisition.
• Conducts new hire orientation and explains HR benefits and policies.
• Prepare and communicate information to new employees on hire date.
• Deliver training programs as assigned.
• Be a steward of the company culture and address associate concerns promptly.
