Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our HR Operations team in a hands-on, on-site capacity across our distribution centers. The role partners with leaders on talent development, workforce planning, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; PHR/SPHR/CHRL/CPHR certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience required.
• Working knowledge of federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws.
• Understanding of talent acquisition, compensation/benefits, and employee relations practices.

Responsibilities

• Builds effective working relationships with business leaders.
• Provides coaching to individual contributors to drive success.
• Reviews metrics to derive insights and improve processes.
• Executes HR functions accurately and timely across the region/organization.
• Maintains HRIS records and associate files and ensures data accuracy.
