Job summary

MANE is seeking an HR Generalist in New Jersey to support manufacturing and logistics operations. The role provides day-to-day HR services, partners with plant leaders, enforces policy, and drives a positive workplace culture.

Based in Wayne, NJ, you will serve as the primary HR presence at fragrance manufacturing and warehouse sites, collaborate with the Senior HR Business Partner on strategic initiatives, and help with recruiting, timekeeping, payroll support, and training coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a HR Generalist or related role.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or operational workforce preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, leave administration, and HR compliance required.
• Experience in supporting recruitment and onboarding activities preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, leave administration processes, and employee accommodations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR presence at fragrance manufacturing and logistics locations.
• Build relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers to promote engagement and a positive culture.
• Address questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, attendance, and workplace matters.
• Conduct and support employee relations investigations and document findings.
• Partner with managers to resolve workplace concerns, performance issues, and disciplinary matters.
• Assist with implementing and communicating HR programs and changes.
• Support employee recognition and engagement activities.
• Assist Talent Acquisition with manufacturing recruitment.
• Back up non-exempt timekeeping and timesheet administration.
