JSK Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HR Manager for a 70-person manufacturing facility in the Oakmont, PA area.

This site-based role blends strategic HR partnership with daily execution, working with plant leadership and floor employees to handle employee relations, compliance, grievances, and help build a strong, consistent people culture. This role is proactive, floor-oriented, and independent in handling complex employee situations, with growth potential to oversee HR across multiple

Qualifications

• BS/BA required; SHRM preferred.
• 5+ years of HR experience with a manufacturing or warehousing background.
• Union experience preferred; candidates without union experience may be considered if they can learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for a 70-person manufacturing facility supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
• Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Work with corporate to handle union grievances and labor relations matters.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts at the site level.
• Ensure compliance with labor law, company policy, and HR best practices.
• Communicate proactively with employees on the floor; be visible, accessible, and trusted.
• Support HR systems implementation and process improvement initiatives as needed.
• Keep HR leadership informed on site-level trends, issues, and culture observations.
