Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Generalist to partner with warehouse leadership, drive employee engagement, and manage day-to-day HR activities. The role blends tactical execution with strategic initiatives across the employee life cycle at large campus locations.

You will support hiring, onboarding, investigations, and training, while leveraging Workday and MyRyder for data and processes. Strong collaboration with operations and HR teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with HR concentration or related field.
• 2+ years in employee relations or a similar HR function.
• 2+ years in HR generalist or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to execute HR strategy focused on engagement and retention.
• Provide HR support to location leadership on hiring, performance, and data changes.
• Collaborate with HRES/Compliance on policy interpretation and compliance.
• Support union negotiations and labor relations activities.
• Utilize analytics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate development programs like FLP and LMT.
• Work with recruiting to create staffing plans based on growth.
