Job summary

BOS Innovations Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support on-site HR operations in Lexington, KY. You will ensure employment compliance, administer onboarding, payroll, benefits, and safety programs while collaborating with cross-border HR teams.

This role emphasizes employee relations, policy interpretation, health & safety compliance, and engagement initiatives, with opportunities to shape workplace culture and process improvements across BOS locations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing/automation/technical environment.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices; Kentucky experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; OSHA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements and partner with HR Director on risk and significant HR matters.
• Develop, review, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, onboarding docs in collaboration with HR leadership.
• Monitor HR practices for consistency, compliance, and BOS standards.
• Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies and routine matters; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Own day-to-day Health & Safety program and ensure OSHA alignment.
• Coordinate payroll checks, benefits enrollment, and HRIS updates; oversee HR administration by Office Coordinator.
