Job summary

Kinze Manufacturing, Inc. in Williamsburg, IA, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to partner with production teams across shifts. The role serves as the primary contact on HR policies, benefits, onboarding, recruiting, and day-to-day HR services.

You will manage HRIS data, generate reports, support FMLA and benefits processes, and facilitate training and employee communications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• 1–3 years of HR experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and urgency.
• Proven communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects to completion.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations with professionalism.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with production teams across shifts as HR point of contact.
• Maintain employee data and support HRIS operations; answer HRIS questions.
• Prepare standard HR reports for management.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting logistics and pipelines.
• Coordinate onboarding: schedules, materials, and 90-day check-in.
• Coordinate co-op recruiting: career fairs and housing assistance.
• Support engagement activities and internal communications.
• Answer routine HR questions and provide employee relations guidance.
• Assist benefits enrollments and life-event changes.
• Assist with FMLA administration.
• Provide training materials and workshops.
• Support benefits communication and processes.
• Participate in training support and wellness initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
