Job summary

IRCA Group seeks an HR Generalist for its Affton, MO manufacturing site. You will provide day-to-day HR support to plant leadership, supervisors, and hourly employees across all shifts, covering recruiting, employee relations, HR programs, payroll, timekeeping, and compliance.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will coach leaders, apply company policies consistently, maintain HRIS records, and help design programs that advance safety, engagement, and operational excellence on the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO requirements; leaves of absence experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Broad HR knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, and HR systems.
• Strong communication skills with hourly employees, supervisors, and senior leaders.
• Ability to coach and influence others and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager and leaders to address day-to-day workforce needs and provide HR support.
• Coach and counsel leaders on performance, attendance, workplace concerns, and policies.
• Conduct employee investigations and recommend actions with fairness and confidentiality.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure accurate payroll/timekeeping reconciliation.
• Support benefits enrollment, leaves, and compensation programs.
