Job summary

Just Born, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with production, HR leadership, and supply chain. You will be the first contact for production associates, coaching on workplace issues and driving HR operations in a fully onsite setting.

The role emphasizes labor relations, compliance with NLRA and employment laws, and heavy involvement with performance management, onboarding, and timekeeping using Kronos. A strong HR background and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required.
• 2+ years HR experience; ideally in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems is highly desirable.
• Exposure or experience with talent acquisition or recruiting and onboarding is preferred.
• HR certifications in PHR, SPHR, SHRM are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.
• Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on performance management, coaching, and corrective actions for line managers.
• Guide operations on contract language interpretation; support labor relations and compliance.
• Post and manage job bids; track grievances and support management in labor relations.
• Oversee timekeeping processes, train users, upgrade Kronos, and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate, confidential HRIS records and coordinate safety training.
• Source and onboard talent for Operations; manage onboarding schedules and training preparation.
