Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking an HR Generalist for an onsite role in West Chester, OH. The successful candidate will support payroll, benefits, recruitment/onboarding, and employee relations while ensuring HRIS data integrity in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to partner with the HR Manager on policy administration, compliance with FAA/DOT protocols, and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years’ experience with HRIS system, UKG preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with discretion and integrity.
• Ability to coach and facilitate, support talent acquisition, and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer Human Resources policies, procedures, standards, and government regulations; liaise between employees and management.
• Manage FAA and DOT compliance protocols for aerospace operations.
• Support talent acquisition; participate in recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Conduct new employee orientations to communicate programs and policies.
• Lead payroll processes with accurate tracking of hours, bonuses, and deductions.
• Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
• Assist HR Manager with wage/salary programs, job descriptions, performance reviews, and org charts.
• Perform HRIS and HR self-audits (UKG) and maintain data integrity.
• Counsel and resolve employee concerns; partner with managers on investigations.
• Prepare monthly/annual HR metrics reports and support employee relations events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional HR partners on projects.
