Barnes Aerospace in West Chester, OH is seeking an HR Generalist to support payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations in a manufacturing setting. The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to handle compliance with FAA/DOT rules.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in HR, a BS/BA in HR, and experience with UKG HRIS. Off-shift support and a proactive, confidential approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years’ experience with HRIS system, UKG preferred.
• Team player with ability to exercise judgment and discretion establishing relationships with employees at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to support off-shift employees.
• Self-directed, flexible and able to prioritize.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and commitment.
• Ability to research, analyze and reason logically.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, procedures, and regulations; liaise between employee and management.
• Manage FAA and DOT compliance protocols for aerospace.
• Support talent acquisition: recruitment and onboarding.
• Conduct new employee orientations.
• Lead payroll process including hours, bonuses and deductions.
• Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration.
• Assist in wage/salary programs, job descriptions, performance reviews, org charts.
• Conduct HRIS/self-audits (UKG) and maintain data integrity.
• Counsel and resolve employee concerns; investigate as needed.
• Prepare monthly/annual HR metrics reports.
• Support community/employee relations events and cross-functional projects.
