Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with business leaders in shaping HR strategies that drive performance and engagement.

This on-site role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a proven ability to influence decisions. You will handle talent management, employee relations, policy development, compliance with labor laws, and collaboration with Talent Acquisition to attract and develop top talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with focus on partnering and strategic HR initiatives and strong employee relations
• Self-driven, takes initiative, builds relationships with leaders, and influences decisions
• Ability to facilitate difficult conversations and resolve conflicts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
• MS Office 365 core apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to leaders on talent management, performance management, org effectiveness, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HR policies
• Collaborate with leaders to implement HR strategies aligning with business objectives
• Investigate employee complaints and conduct appropriate resolutions
• Build strong relationships across levels to maintain a visible HR presence
• Partner with legal to develop and update HR policies compliant with laws
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and develop top talent
• Lead or participate in HR projects (design, change management, talent development)
• Coach managers on HR best practices and provide training as needed
• Work with HR Operations to execute employee-related requests
