Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is seeking a Help Desk Associate I to handle inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues onsite within the MIS/IT division.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years IT/Help Desk experience with Microsoft OS. Spanish/English bilingual is a plus. Starting salary ranges from $51,560 to $56,560 annually, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in IT/Help Desk in Microsoft OS environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• A+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles phone and email inquiries, troubleshooting, and managing hardware, software, and new requests.
• Verifies configuration consistency and desired state.
• Performs basic hardware and software installations.
• Follows up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Assists users with password changes.
• Documents and updates all requests in the ticketing system.
• Removes, replaces and installs hardware equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
