Job summary

Urban Health Plan in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Help Desk Associate I to join our MIS/IT division. You will handle inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for users onsite.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of IT/Help Desk experience in a Microsoft OS environment, excellent customer service, and strong interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, and on-site weekday schedule applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years IT/Help Desk experience in Microsoft OS environment.
• Bilingual Spanish/English, a plus.
• Proven track record of success in providing an excellent customer service experience.
• Preferred Certifications: A+; Preferred Knowledge: Mitel, ECW, Sophos.

Responsibilities

• Handles phone and email inquiries, troubleshooting and managing hardware, software and new requests.
• Verifies consistency of configurations and desired state.
• Performs basic hardware and software installations.
• Follows up on outstanding requests and ensures timely resolution.
• Assists users in password changes.
• Documents and updates all requests in the ticketing system.
• Removes, replaces and installs hardware equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
