Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking a DRC-Help Desk Analyst 2-HDA2 to provide onsite IT support in Franklin, OH. The candidate will install, maintain, and support hardware and software across workstations, servers, and network components.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues across multiple tech domains, mentoring peers, and ensuring effective responses to user questions while travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT help desk or similar role.
• Experience with Windows 11.
• Experience with file server management.
• Experience with Active Directory and GPO settings.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, configures, and administers hardware and software in workstation, network, server, and security domains as directed.
• Develops solutions by evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard procedures.
• Diagnoses and resolves customer issues across multiple tech domains.
• Interfaces with platforms from both hardware and software perspectives.
• Mentors peers and lower-level staff through conversation and documentation.
• Responds to questions and concerns verbally and in writing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports Windows 11 environments extensively.
• Manages file servers, Active Directory, and GPO settings.
• Occasional travel is required.
