Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Practice Coordinator to provide daily administrative oversight for the hospital-site practice. You will work closely with the Practice Medical Director, clinicians, and the Clinical Performance Nurse to streamline workflows and improve communications.

The role is on-site with no travel requirements, supporting patient care processes, onboarding, and practice operations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative support experience in healthcare or hospital setting.
• 1–2 years in customer service.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of HR information systems and basic HR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• General administrative support to medical practice under the medical director.
• Managing meeting logistics, office systems, supplies and events.
• Developing and maintaining site policies and procedures with the team.
• Facilitating daily patient census, home health order workflows, and records requests.
• Assisting onboarding and interviews for new clinicians and locums.
• Ensuring clinician privileging and payer enrollment is complete.
