Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team seeks an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate care with external providers. You will work closely with the WHS Site Manager and specialists to support safety operations on site.

The role requires current BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, with strong OSHA knowledge and experience in industrial wellness.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 weeks of start date.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification or Athletic Trainer Certification required.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated familiarity with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Military combat medic experience within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on observed at-risk work habits with associates and leadership.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean working environment.
• Participate in training for first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Maintain credentials across first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and support on-site emergency response.
