Job summary

The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Direct Health is seeking an Onsite Health Educator to deliver face-to-face coaching and education across wellness initiatives. You’ll assess client health needs, develop personalized plans and help participants achieve evidence-based goals.

Role requires 3+ years in health coaching/education, a health-related degree, and certifications; strong presentation skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills with 3+ years in health coaching, education and promotion.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field; master’s preferred.
• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification.
• High energy with dynamic presentation skills.
• Independent, customer-centric with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite face-to-face customer coaching and support.
• Identify health education needs through targeted assessments.
• Collaborate to establish health improvement plans and goals.
• Empower customers to engage in their own health outcomes.
• Overcome barriers to better health and promote wellness activities.
• Lead group coaching, wellness challenges and health seminars.
• May perform biometric screenings (finger sticks, BP, etc.).
• Use biometric data and motivational interviewing to drive outcomes.
• Support health-related site events (open enrollment, flu events, health fairs).

Education

Bachelor's degree in a health-related field

Master's degree preferred

ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification
