Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Bilingual Onsite Health Educator for Washington DC / Bethesda MD to deliver in-person coaching and education. The role focuses on personalized health plans, goal setting, and engaging employees in wellness activities.

Responsibilities include biometric screenings, motivational interviewing, and supporting events. A health-related bachelor’s degree is required; RD license preferred and CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills with health coaching/education experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required; Master's preferred.
• Registered Dietitian licensed in respective state preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Bilingual Spanish and ability to pass assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite face-to-face customer coaching and support.
• Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessments.
• Collaborate to establish health improvement plans and goals; support users in achieving them.
• Empower customers to participate actively in their health outcomes.
• Lead/support health and wellness activities and campaigns.
• May perform biometric screenings (e.g., finger sticks, BP, body composition).
• Use biometric data and motivational interviewing to drive clinical outcomes.
• Support health-related site events (open enrollment, health fairs, etc.).
