Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Manager to lead onsite environmental operations at a key customer location in Clark, NJ. You will organize day-to-day activities to maximize profitability while ensuring safe, compliant delivery of services and planning for ongoing needs in technology, facilities, labor, and equipment.

You will monitor KPIs and provide strong leadership to the onsite InSite team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of operations management or environmental services experience.
• Required training: RCRA, OSHA HAZWOPER, DOT.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site or group of locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate Health and Safety oversight for onsite staff supporting air, water, and hazardous waste programs.
• Maximize utilization of equipment and manpower to support productivity, service quality, and profitability.
• Develop and monitor operational and financial KPIs to drive improvement and cost control.
• Establish processes to measure performance of onsite personnel and set expectations.
• Provide reporting and data analysis to upper management on operations and KPIs.
• Support succession planning and talent development within the InSite team.
• Ensure compliance with company and customer policies and standards.
