Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in security operations, emergency communications, or 24/7 monitoring.
• Clear incident communications and briefing abilities.
• Ability to assess evolving information and escalate appropriately.
• Familiarity with incident-management frameworks and security systems.
• Knowledge of physical security, geopolitical risk, and operational disruptions.
• OSINT techniques and social media used for threat research.
• Ability to work a 24/7 shift schedule and extended hours during incidents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shift operations, ensuring SOPs and escalation protocols are followed.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of GSOC Analysts.
• Review Analyst communications and intelligence products for accuracy.
• Oversee monitoring of geopolitical and external events; ensure escalation and response.
• Oversee physical-security system monitoring and guidance on alarms.
• Direct GSOC response to building security incidents and coordinate with teams.
• Coordinate crisis-management responses and emergency communications.
• Assist with GSOC shift scheduling and staffing coverage.
• Document incidents, actions, and follow-up in the case management system.
