Job summary

Global Guardian in New York seeks an Embedded Security Analyst to join the GSOC team for 24/7 in-person coverage, overseeing threat intelligence, emergency response, and travel safety across regions. The candidate will manage CCTV, alarm systems, badge access, and crisis communications with a focus on preparedness and rapid decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field is highly recommended and/or 3+ years in emergency/crisis management or related field.
• Familiarity with video surveillance, access control, threat intelligence, mass notification, and incident case management systems.
• Certifications such as CPP or PSP are desirable.
• Familiarity with Everbridge, Ontic and Microsoft 365 products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operations and employee locations to ensure safety and adapt to evolving threats.
• Evaluate travel options and destinations to provide safer choices and risk-reduction strategies.
• Dispatch security officers and on-site personnel during incidents.
• Answer routine and emergency calls, acting as a calm security point of contact.
• Maintain meticulous data for security systems and escalate damaged equipment.
• Use mass notification systems to alert Crisis Management Team per protocols.
• Document and report thefts, alarms, and incidents.
• Monitor CCTV and escalate detections while maintaining records.
• Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipment.
• Escalate critical event information to supervisors and GSOC manager.
• Collaborate with third-party security providers and law enforcement for coordinated response.
• Provide access badge support including camera operation and badge activation.
