Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to manage medical needs of skilled nursing residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. The APRN will diagnose, treat, and oversee patient health while coordinating with staff and administrators. A three-week training with mentor APRN is included.

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited program.
State NP license in good standing and board certification required.
DEA/Controlled Substances license required.
Ability to work independently and with on-site staff.

Responsibilities

Provide primary, post-acute, and preventive care for residents.
Diagnose conditions and illnesses and prescribe treatments.
Order and review diagnostic tests and interpret results.
Maintain accurate records and communicate with patients about care.
Serve as primary contact for emergencies and routine visits.
