Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a General Manager to oversee onsite operations across multiple cemetery and funeral home locations in the United States. The base salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000, with an incentive bonus plan tied to site performance.

This fully onsite role requires regular presence at assigned locations and carries full P&L responsibility. The GM will drive profitability, ensure service excellence, and lead diverse teams through effective staffing, training, and performance

• Strong combination of business operations, quality, continuous improvement, and process development experience.
• Ability to establish trust with all stakeholders: customers, business partners, investors, and coworkers.
• Experience handling location issues including internal and external customer complaints.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing multiple departments within multiple locations.
• Proactive approach with urgency and prioritization of tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of daily operations across portfolio with full P&L responsibility.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels; monitor variances and take corrective actions.
• Serve as the example of customer service standards for internal and external customers.
• Provide motivational leadership and develop teams within company guidelines.
• Lead weekly managers meetings to review staffing, development, and training needs.
• Recruit, hire, train and retain staff in accordance with company standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development plans.
• Manage merchandise and property inventory for each location.
• Manage vendor relationships to address location or customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Select and purchase materials within budget using approved vendors.
