Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Charlotte, NC seeks a Receptionist 1 to be the welcoming face of our clinic. The role is onsite and involves front desk operations, assisting clinical staff, and maintaining a compassionate environment.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, manage records in EMR/CRM, collect copays, answer calls with empathy, and keep the reception area organized. TB screening is part of the hire process.

Qualifications

• 1+ year healthcare customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and empathetic interaction with patients.
• Experience using MS Office for reporting and workflow.
• TB screening required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and manage calendars with clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays as needed.
• Respond to inquiries with empathy and provide general information.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked and organized.
• Assist with supply orders, inventory management and courier coordination.
