Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer I to design and develop next‑generation circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA‑based solutions using AMD, Altera, and Microchip architectures. You will contribute across the full lifecycle from concept to production with agile, cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include digital architecture, HDL coding, test, validation, documentation, and collaboration with systems, mechanical, and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field by start date.
• Experience with digital design, HDL coding, and FPGA concepts.
• Familiarity with lab equipment for circuit characterization.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify CCAs and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms and partition design functions.
• Select components, capture schematics, simulate circuits.
• Integrate hardware in lab with advanced test instrumentation.
• Document designs and manage configuration artifacts.
• Support from customer requirements to production release.
