Job summary

RTX is an aerospace and defense leader seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join the Effector Digital Products team in a primarily onsite U.S. role, located in Tucson, AZ. This position requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. You will develop FPGA designs using VHDL/Verilog for Xilinx, Intel, Microchip and other devices, collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers, perform code development, simulation, and place-and-route, and help verify,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Demonstrated experience with digital design and VHDL or Verilog coding.
• Familiarity with Xilinx, Altera or Microsemi/Microchip FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA designs with circuit card designers and systems engineers from requirements to production.
• Perform code development, simulation, and place-and-route with verification against requirements.
• Document designs and manage configurations throughout the design process.
