Job summary

Vallen is seeking an Onsite Technician II for Life Safety Services. You will install, inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Strong communication and mechanical skills are essential to troubleshoot and service a variety of fire protection equipment. Candidates should have high school orGED, fire protection certifications, and 1–3 years of Life Safety experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 certifications in a fire protection related field.
• Fire Alarm & Ext A 1–3 yrs. exp or related experience.
• Experience in installation and/or maintenance of life safety systems.
• Must pass drug, alcohol, and background checks; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls and on-site ITM of life safety systems.
• Perform system testing and inspections to prescribed standards.
• Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and maintenance of Life Safety Systems.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Install Life Safety Systems and ensure proper documentation for invoicing.
