Job summary

Vallen Distribution seeks a Lead Onsite Technician for the Safety Services group to oversee installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

The role requires NICET II or greater and 5+ years in fire protection, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead teams while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 certifications in a fire protection related field.
• NICET II or greater certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in fire protection or related field.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of service and adherence to SOPs.
• May handle scheduling responsibilities.
• Lead on-site service centers within area of expertise.
• Coordinate job activities with customers.
• Ensure and submit accurate documentation for invoicing.
• Maintain necessary inventory and asset records.
