Job summary

Vallen is seeking an On-site Service Technician II in Safety Services to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on life safety equipment for established customers. You will conduct service calls, identify discrepancies, and maintain thorough documentation for invoicing while adhering to OSHA, NFPA, and Vallen SOPs.

The role requires multiple certifications, 1–3 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license, with CDL needed if handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 2 certifications in a related field.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Mechanically inclined with strong communication skills.
• Current motor vehicle license with good driving record.
• CDL required if carrying loads of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on life safety equipment.
• Conduct service calls and identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports.
• Provide service in Inspecting, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Life Safety Equipment (Fire Extinguishers, Hose, Gas Detection, Respiratory Equipment, Fall Protection, Showers).
• Ensure documentation is complete and ready for invoicing; provide copies to customers.
