Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking an Onsite Technician II focused on Life Safety Services in the Vallen Safety Services Group. You will install, inspect, test, and maintain life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include service calls, system testing, on-site troubleshooting, and preparing reports. The role requires knowledge of NFPA/OSHA standards and a valid driver’s license with the ability to work in various environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 Certifications (manufacturing/state) in a fire protection related field.
• Fire Alarm & Ext A 1-3 yrs. exp or
• WBS Construction 1-3 yrs. exp
• RME-I (if applicable)
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong communication skills
• Specific -- RELEVENT experience
• Experience in the installation and/or maintenance, repair and service of life safety systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls.
• Systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards.
• Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and maintaining of customer's Life Safety Systems.
• Identifying code issues and discrepancies.
• Preparing accurate, timely Technician worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Installing Life Safety Systems.
• Providing customer service in the area of installation and/or ITM of Life Safety Systems.
• Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise and distributing to sales associates.
