Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a billing specialist to be 100% onsite in New York. You will prepare and deliver complete billing packets to customers, including reports and certified payroll, to ensure timely payment and accurate invoicing.

In this role you will assign tasks for 14 dedicated field resources, track open calls and inspections, package invoices on a negotiated timeline, and monitor monthly L&M revenue, all while delivering professional communications and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or operations/service delivery.
• Strong decision-making skills and adaptability.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good telephone manner and appropriate business communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to operate under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Billing customers with complete invoicing packets including reports and certified payroll.
• Assigning tasks for the 14 dedicated field resources.
• Track and manage all open calls, including inspection manuals.
• Locally billing all open SRs including Inspection-Manuals and general service requests.
• Track and maintain monthly L&M revenue.
• Invoice packaging and delivery per a negotiated timeline.
