Job summary
Meriwest Credit Union in San Jose, CA is seeking a Financial Services Representative II to provide personalized member service, cross-sell products, and build relationships to grow deposits and loans. You will assist with new accounts, lending, and referral partnerships, while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years prior Credit Union or Banking Experience highly preferred.
- Must be extremely sales oriented with a proven track record.
- Ability to promote business banking deposit accounts, payroll, merchant services.
Responsibilities
- Assist members in opening checking, savings, and certificate products; provide dividend projections.
- Analyze member financial needs and cross-sell products and services.
- Present deposit, loan, and business banking products clearly to members.
- Serve as back-up for all Member Service Representatives.
- Assist members with lending needs and process loan requests per guidelines.
