Job summary

CommonWealth Central Credit Union in San Jose is seeking a full-time Financial Services Representative to help members achieve their financial goals through proactive wellness discussions and personalized service.

You will assist with transactions, account openings, loans, and online banking inquiries, while also cross-selling loan protections and supporting new member onboarding. Prior credit union or bank experience is preferred. NMLS registration is required.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
• Experience with processing loans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Prior experience working in a credit union or bank strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fulfillment of members' financial needs through discussions of financial wellness.
• Assist member with all transactions, including opening memberships, accounts and loans.
• Assist members with online banking inquiries.
• Interview and process member's loans. Effectively cross sell payment protection products.
• Performa outreach activities as part of the credit union's new member onboarding process.
• Consistently provide exceptional member service through financial wellness discussions and support to internal and external members.
