Job summary

McKinstry seeks a Field Technologist for the New Construction team in Portland, OR. You will train, troubleshoot, and implement new and existing applications to support craft worker infrastructure on active projects.

You will serve as the main on-site tech contact, stay current with industry practices, and collaborate across departments to drive productive outcomes. Prior construction tech knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technology projects and implementing enterprise systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT/PM/CS-related field.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, SharePoint, Power BI, CxAlloy and Autodesk products.
• Interest in learning new technologies and building training materials.
• Knowledge of construction tech and craft worker needs is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project support and troubleshoot field tech implementations.
• Train and coach craft teams on new and existing applications and dashboards.
• Act as primary contact for technology inquiries on site projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical changes.
