Job summary

McKinstry in Portland, OR is seeking a Field Technologist to join our New Construction team. This role trains, coaches, troubleshoots and supports the implementation of new and existing applications and business systems to empower on-site craft workers and project teams.

You will be the primary on-site technology contact, manage SharePoint sites, facilitate documentation and dashboards, and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing technology projects and deploying new enterprise systems.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in IT, program management, business or related field.
• Experience with Bluebeam, SharePoint, Power BI, CxAlloy, and Autodesk products.
• Knowledge of technology in construction contexts and willingness to learn new tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for McKinstry craft worker infrastructure and projects.
• Establish metrics and ROI for field-facing technologies and document costs/benefits.
• Manage craft-facing SharePoint sites and related documentation.
• Facilitate creation/maintenance of PDFs and dashboards for projects.
• Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training with functional managers.
• Participate in cross-functional committees and teams and collaborate widely.
