Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Technologist to join the New Construction team. You will train, troubleshoot, and implement new and existing applications and business systems to support craft workers on-site.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for technology inquiries for project teams and help advance digital tooling across the field. The role emphasizes collaboration, cross-functional training, and proactive technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated proficiency for managing technology projects, new development and/or support of existing critical enterprise systems.
• Bachelor’s degree/AA in Information Technology, Program Management, Business Management, Computer Science or related field required, or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, OneDrive, Visio, and Outlook; advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide support and assistance to McKinstry craft worker infrastructure; establishes metrics and measures ROI for field facing technologies; manage craft facing SharePoint sites; facilitate creation/maintenance/troubleshooting of PDF linked documents and dashboards.
• Collaboration and Training: Stays informed of new technologies; SME on current and emerging solutions; develops training with managers; participate in cross-functional committees and teams.
• Communication: Develop and maintain professional relationships with peers; act as a technology consultant; communicate vision and strategies for projects.
