Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Technologist to train, troubleshoot and implement new and existing applications and business systems for on-site project teams. You will act as the main tech contact and support the craft worker infrastructure with proactive problem solving.

Key duties include managing SharePoint sites, creating dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive productivity while expanding McKinstry’s craft workforce capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, PM, business, CS or related field.
• Experience with Bluebeam, SharePoint, Power BI, CxAlloy, and Autodesk products.
• Knowledge of construction tech implementations preferred.
• Able to learn new technologies and software quickly.
• Background in construction helpful for training material.

Responsibilities

• Provide field tech support to McKinstry craft worker infrastructure.
• Establish metrics and measures ROI for field technologies; identify costs, benefits and impact.
• Manage craft-facing SharePoint sites.
• Facilitate creation/maintenance/troubleshooting of PDF documents and dashboards.
• Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training with functional managers.
• Participate in cross-functional committees and teams.
