Job summary

McKinstry in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Technologist to train, coach, troubleshoot and assist with implementing new and existing applications and business systems to support craft worker infrastructure on project sites.

You will be the main on-site technology contact for project teams, managing SharePoint, PDFs, dashboards, and collaborating across disciplines while advancing McKinstry's tech-enabled construction goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/AA in Information Technology, Program Management, Business Management, Computer Science or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Bluebeam, SharePoint, Power BI, CxAlloy, and Autodesk products.
• Knowledge of relevant technological advances and implementation of new technology in construction is strongly preferred.
• A desire to learn and understand new technologies and software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to McKinstry craft worker infrastructure.
• Establishes metrics and measures return on investments for field facing technologies; clearly identify costs, benefits and overall impact of project initiatives.
• Manage craft facing SharePoint sites; facilitate creation/maintenance/troubleshooting of PDF linked documents and dashboards.
• Develop and collaborate with training managers to provide in-person and virtual training.
• Participate in cross-functional committees and teams.
• Act as a business/technology consultant to introduce technology and process changes.
