Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Field Services Engineer in New York to provide on-site hardware and software support across customer locations. You will troubleshoot, configure, and validate systems, including conferencing and video solutions, and work with vendors to resolve complex issues.

The role requires strong Windows/Microsoft 365 skills, AD experience, and hands-on support for devices, printers, and networked equipment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of field services or onsite engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Windows devices, laptops and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with corporate printing and MFD environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Perform onsite hands-on support for technology and devices.
• Validate conferencing, telepresence, and video systems operational.
• Provide onsite escorts for third parties and support live events.
• Assist with network and compute issue resolution with vendors.
