Job summary

Gtatelecom is seeking a Field Service Technician for a 2-month contract in McCordsville, IN to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems and related printing hardware. The role requires hands-on hardware experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work evenings with on-call rotation.

Candidates should have 0-2 years of field dispatch and break-fix experience, familiarity with Lexmark devices, and a basic understanding of networking and restaurant technology

Qualifications

0-2 years of field dispatch repair and hands-on hardware experience.
Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Active driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and restaurant tech environments.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service while supporting clients and staff.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems and printer equipment.
Document work, update configurations, and perform hardware/software upgrades.
Perform light contractor tasks such as drilling, mounting, and cabling as needed.
Train employees on proper use of supported systems and equipment.
